Since their creation, and until 2018, the Centre DAW has supported the doctoral schools of the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Yaoundé I, notably by organizing selection meetings for candidates for masters degrees and theses, ensuring the administrative management of the Arts, Languages and Cultures doctoral school, as well as organizing seminars to which internationally renowned scientists were invited, such as Professors Ute Fendler of the University of Bayreuth, Regine Schleicher of the University of Frankfurt am Main, and Isabelle Kalinowski of the École Normale Supérieure in Paris, France.
