As part of the partnership between the University of Leipzig via the Center for Advanced Studies and the DAW Center, an international conference on The sociology of the state: reflexive turn and new dynamics took place on June 3, 2014 at the DAW Center. The conference was chaired by Prof. Dr. Matthias Middel of the University of Leipzig and Prof. David Simo of the University of Yaoundé I.
