Professor Frank Norbert Proske, a mathematician from the University of Oslo, worked from March 8 to June 14, 2013 as a visiting scientist at the DAW Center. Prof. Proske has been mentoring Cameroonian PhD students in mathematics for several years in partnership with Cameroonian colleagues. In particular, he has collaborated with Prof. Mama Foupouagnigni, who heads a Mathematics laboratory housed at the DAW Center.
